Jide is a registered engineer with a first degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ibadan interested in Energy, Materials, and Thermofluid. He also attended MIT and Harvard Business School Executive Education Programs in Boston, MA, the United States of America, where he studied more about launching new ventures, driving corporate performance, management systems, strategy development and implementation, balanced scorecards, enterprise risk management, and disruptive strategy.

He is currently the Managing Director of Matrix Fertilizer. He is saddled with the responsibility of implementing a workable management system and a growth strategy for the subsidiary.

Before joining Matrix Energy Group, he worked in leading financial institutions such as Standard Trust Bank (now UBA). He also consulted for various notable organizations within the Oil and Gas, Telecommunications, Power and Solid, and Mineral sectors.
